Grade School (U11 - U12) Training Information
Monday | Training Day 1
- Club Training (Skills & Performance).
- 120 minutes.
- Training Session conducted by club trainers and team coaches.
Club Training Session:
- Each session will consist of 60 minutes on-court volleyball training and 60 minutes of strength & conditioning.
- Training will focus on fundamental skill training, individual positional tutoring, physical training, conditioning, and overall health wellness.
Included Camps:
- Pre-Season Club Camp--Conducted by PAO STL Coaches
- Week 1: 11/102025 -11/13/2025
- Week 2: 11/172025 -11/20/2025
- Camp will include fundamental skills, small group games, team tactics, offensive & defensive systems, club-wide college match, & referee clinics & practical.
Performance Lab Testing:
- Measure height, wing span, standing reach, vertical, beep test, t-shuffle, push ups, sit ups, & air squats.
- Testing Date 1 - 11/24/2025
- Testing Date 2 - 4/27/2026
Tue or Wed | Training Day 2
- Team Training (Speed & Agility and Practice).
- 120 minutes.
- Training Session conducted by team coaches.
Team Training Session:
- Team Training will focus on teaching and developing fundamental skills and team oriented tactics and systems.
- Each session will consist of 90 minutes on-court volleyball.
- On Tuesdays, all teams will get 30 minutes of speed & agility training.
Thursday | Training Day 3
- Team Training (Practice & Team Bonding)
- 120 minutes.
- Training Session conducted by team coaches
Team Training Session:
- Team Training will focus on teaching and developing fundamental skills and team oriented tactics and systems.
- Each session will consist of 90 minutes on-court volleyball.
- On Thursday, all teams will get 30 minutes off the court to conduct team bonding, video review, team meetings, etc. at their coaches discretion.

Post Season:
- Dates: 5/4/2026-6/11/2026
- Team training sessions only
- Tuesday and Thursday
- Total Training Hours (22-24 Hours; depending on when team travels to Nationals)
- Additional Club Fees ($250/player for gym space & nationals apparel) & Team Fees (Tournaments, Coaches Fees & Travel Reimbursements) Associated with participation in Post-Season.
- Post-Season is reserved for any PAO STL Team that earns a USAV Bid, AAU Nationals Free Entry, and/or decides to pay to participate at AAU Nationals.

• Staff Head Coach/Asst. Coach Fee for PAO STL RDA Black, RDA Green, RDA White & RDA Southside —Head Coach: $3,000.00 /Asst. Coach: $1,750.00 per season/per team • This is an additional fee per team, per season that is paid directly to the head coach/asst. coach. All rates have been approved by PAO STL. There is an additional fee for teams who travel out of town, this fee covers the travel expenses for the coaches and is equally shared by all players. Expenses include: round trip airfare (if needed), rental vehicle, gas, meals and hotel. Coaches fees will always be due the first Tuesday of every month (Dec, Jan, Feb, Mar, & April) |
• Each team member will be equally responsible towards teams tournaments fees and coaches travel reimbursement fees. • Tournament fees include leagues and local & travel tournaments. • Travel Reimbursements include Hotel, Rental Car, Round Trip Airfare, Gas (calculated via FuelEconomy.gov calculator) , & Food per diem. |
• Each team member will be equally responsible towards players & coach memberships (USAV/AAU/JVA). • All team members (coaches, players, & chaperones who will be involved with the team and participate on the bench) will be required to carry memberships with USAV/AAU/JVA. |
• Each playing team member will be required to purchase a uniform package (3 Jerseys, Spandex Shorts and/or Leggings, Backpack & Ball). Parents and Players will also be able to purchase sprit wear during our ordering window in November. • Team Fees are comprised of Fixed and Variable expenses. Since each team varies in the number of players, tournaments, etc. these fees will be determined upon the completion of formation of teams and schedules. |
